Adult – Vocational Bible School

Parents are the first and foremost catechists of their children. They catechize informally but powerfully by example and instruction. They communicate values and attitudes by showing love for Christ and His Church, and for each other.  Their active involvement in the parish, their readiness to seek opportunities to serve others, and their practice of frequent and spontaneous prayer, all make meaningful their professions of belief “The role of parents in education is of such importance that it is almost impossible to provide an adequate substitute.” (Catechism of the Catholic Church #2221)

Faith Formation-    Our religious education program is designed to support the parents as they provide the primary religious education to their children. Classes are held on Sundays, after Mass, and during the regular school year. As well, we have Christmas programs,
Vacation Bible School and Easter programs to supplement in fellowship and learning.  Faith Formation is available for students from pre-k through twelfth grade. Parents are encouraged to attend and volunteer. Classes are staffed by volunteers from the parish.

Youth Group  - Designed for youth from sixth through twelfth grade. Family must be registered in the parish and the student must attend Mass and Faith Formation regularly. Students perform community service, learn about their faith, and are given many social opportunities.

Sacraments- For adults, the parish priest will provide classes and instruction. For children/youth, Sacrament preparation is incorporated into the Faith Formation program. Sacraments include First Reconciliation and First Communion, usually provided during second grade and Confirmation in eighth grade.
